Our Company: Located on the banks of Lake Sarnen in Switzerland, surrounded by mountain peaks and fresh air, Avalanche Swiss Granola is slow baked with care in small batches, reflecting over 60 years of expertise and tradition. We use the finest ingredients and highest quality process to produce for the best possible granola.
Our Process: All of the Avalanche granola is baked in a slow and low process in Switzerland in a 100% Green energy facility that is cleaned daily with only 100% bio-degradable and safe cleaning agents. After the baking process, the granola is packed in a foil pouch and nitrogen flushed. Nitrogen keeps out moisture and oxygen for a crispy and crunchy granola. Avalanche Granola is baked low and slow on a 131ft oven. Our Difference: A big difference between most granolas and Avalanche is that we use more oats, seeds, and nuts while competitors use more flour and sugar. Flour and sugar are soft and porous. When milk is poured over the granola it absorbs much faster and becomes soggy. The seeds, nuts and oat flakes in Avalanche help create a better barrier to liquid which lets it retain the crunchy texture for a longer amount of time.
